    Sporting de Braga performs the best season ever in the League

    Sporting de Braga, in third place, won, this Saturday, at home, the already relegated Paços de Ferreira, by 3-0, in the last game of the edition of the League. The Arsenal players had their best season ever, setting the record for points, wins and goals.

    Sporting de Braga beat Paços de Ferreira by 3-0 and achieved an unprecedented feat in the Portuguese championship for the Minho region. The Arsenalistas set a new record for points in the League (78), a new record for league wins (25). Furthermore, the warriors had never scored so many goals (75) in a single edition of the championship.

    In the match of the 34th round, Alvaro Djaló (08 minutes), Ricardo Horta (29) and Banza (51) scored the goals of the Braga, who ended the season with 78 points, having already secured the third place and the consequent qualifying for the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

    Paços de Ferreira finished in 17th and penultimate position, with 23 points, returning to II Liga after four consecutive seasons in the top tier.
