Sesame Street star Bob McGrath dies at 91
Sesame Street star Bob McGrath has died at the age of 91. It is reported by The Independent.
The artist died on December 4th. The causes of his death are not reported, but it is known that McGrath died surrounded by loved ones.
“The McGrath family has some sad news. Our father Bob McGrath has passed away. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family,” the actor’s relatives wrote.
McGrath first appeared on Sesame Street in 1969, playing neighbor Bob Johnson, and left the show 48 years later in 2017. The artist became the performer of the main song of the program, and also wrote songs for the show such as People in Your Neighborhood, Sing a Song and If You’re Happy And You Know It.
Al Strobel, an American actor who played Philip Michael Gerard on Twin Peaks, has died at the age of 84.
