Due to the fact that the candidates could not get an absolute majority in the Presidential election held on 14 May, Turkey went to the polls again to determine the new president.

Voting for the second presidential election, which will take place for the first time in Turkish political history, ended at 17.00.

191,885 ballot boxes were set up in 973 districts and 1094 district electoral boards across the country for the election in which the president of Turkey who will serve for 5 years will be determined. Voting has ended all over the country.

The presidential candidate of the People’s Alliance, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, competed in the election.

What is the latest situation in Sakarya election results?

Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), made statements regarding the second round of the Presidential Elections.

YSK Chairman Yener ” The second round of voting process in today’s election has ended. There was no negative situation that had an impact on the voting process. Objections were evaluated. We thank our voters for their participation.” said.

Once the YSK releases the broadcasts, the Istanbul election results will be available at the link below.

In which cases will the votes be considered invalid?

Votes that are not stamped “Yes” or “Preference” and stamped on more than one candidate will be invalid.

Tearing or tearing the ballot paper in such a way that its integrity is destroyed, printing any special sign, name, signature stamp or fingerprint on the ballot, other than the seal or instead of the seal, will also invalidate the vote.

In addition, if the ballot paper is clearly scribbled, scratched or marked, or if there is any item in the envelope that serves as a sign, the votes will be deemed invalid.
