Russians leave the bodies of their dead on the battlefield – a military expert told about the scheme of the commanders of the Russian army

Russian soldiers leave the bodies of their fallen compatriots on the battlefield. This is a normal phenomenon for the Russian Federation, but not only because of the mentality. There is also an economic side of the issue.

About this told Oleksandr Kovalenko, military and political columnist of the “Information Resistance” group, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

“Quite often, the Russian command leaves the bodies of destroyed Russian occupiers in the field. It simplifies a lot. This allows, for example, to consider them as missing, i.e. not “300” and not “200”, Kovalenko said.

Therefore, if the soldiers are considered missing, payments for their relatives are not provided for.

“Budget savings. And in some cases, they continue to be kept as personnel of units, and the unit commander receives appropriate payments for them – monthly support, salaries, etc.,” said Kovalenko.

It’s all pocketed, the unit commander shares with other officers to keep the scheme going, the expert says.

“There are quite a lot of such dead souls in the Russian occupation forces in the units, this is already a whole business,” the expert added.
