Russian military pretended to be dead and deceived Ukrainian drone

A participant in a special military operation (SVO) from Yekaterinburg, Daniil, was smart and pretended to be dead in order to deceive the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He spoke about this in an interview with URA.RU.

According to the serviceman, the situation at the front reveals new qualities in the soldier, which he never suspected. He noted that he came under fire while performing a combat mission, a Ukrainian drone dropped grenades, one of which exploded near a Russian fighter.

“The situation is stressful. And then a brilliant idea came into my head for that moment – I pretended to be dead. He held his breath and froze. The drone flew for another five minutes and left the position,” Daniel said.

He added that after that he was able to run to his positions and give the commanders important information.

The fighter expressed the opinion that heroism is not always justified, sometimes it is better to show cunning and ingenuity than to risk your own life and your comrades.

Earlier it became known that the Russian air defense (AD) intercepted a Storm Shadow cruise missile in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.
