Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Medvedev: The West miscalculated by not providing security guarantees to Russia
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, answering journalists’ questions, pointed out that the West made a big mistake when it did not want to provide security guarantees to Moscow without signing a corresponding document with it. He spoke about this in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
“I have a feeling that for the time being they did not believe and did not see the degree of determination of Russia, its president and supreme commander in chief, to do what we did,” he said, noting that Western states miscalculated in this matter.
According to him, the consequences of their refusal to give Russia security guarantees turned out to be much more difficult than if they had signed a document with Moscow in December last year.
Earlier, US Marine Corps veteran Lucas Gage praised the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to warn the West about the consequences of the use of depleted uranium ammunition in Ukraine, calling it the right one.
