“Russia must lose”: Zelenskyi named the condition of the guarantee against new aggressions

The aggressor state has become even more isolated, and the position of the enemy is more hopeless.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, spoke about the international support provided by Ukraine’s partner states to resist Russian aggression, and the government’s decision to help the Ukrainian army and post-war reconstruction.

“Step by step, we are doing everything possible and everywhere so that Russian revanchism loses in every element of its aggression against Ukraine and the freedom of peoples in general. Russia must lose on the battlefield, in the economy, in international relations, in its attempts to replace the historical truth with some imperial myths. The Kremlin is losing in its efforts to spiritually enslave our people,” the president said.

According to him, the full-scale defeat of Russia will be a reliable guarantee against new aggressions and crises.

About international aid

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that a decision was made this week on new packages of defense support from the United States, Lithuania, Finland, and Germany.

“The Swedish Parliament has already approved the 11th package of defense support to Ukraine. There is a security package and generally strong agreements with Japan – once again I want to thank Prime Minister Kishida for a productive visit,” the Ukrainian leader noted.

In addition, one and a half billion euros of macro-finance from the EU have already been deposited in the accounts of the National Bank. And the Croatian government has adopted a program for the treatment and rehabilitation of our wounded soldiers.

About punishment for Russia

Zelensky noted that historical justice for Ukrainians is being protected on the international stage. In particular, Iceland recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

In addition, one more country supported the need to punish Russia for war crimes – Greece joined the group of partners working on the creation of a special tribunal.

“I would especially like to note the cooperation with the International Criminal Court. This week gave Ukraine an agreement on the opening of the office of the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court,” the president recalled.

About drones for the army

Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on important decisions of the Ukrainian government that were adopted this week.

“In particular, I would like to note the decision that activates the production of drones. In general, this year at least 20 billion hryvnias will be allocated to the purchase of drones for our soldiers. And this is not the limit,” the president emphasized.

About post-war reconstruction

In addition, according to the president, the government made new decisions regarding post-war reconstruction.

“The range of needs is very wide. Wherever I have been this week on business trips, requests require significant resources. We will find these resources. Kherson region, Kharkiv region, Donetsk region and every other region affected by hostilities will return to normal life,” the president promised.

In conclusion, Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, who are working hard to bring Ukrainian victory and protect our people, on their professional day. He also announced the completion of the training of officers of the National Guard, Navy and Army and thanked the teaching staff for this work.

“I believe that this year’s edition will increase the glory of Ukraine and strengthen all of us – the entire state,” he emphasized.
