The Police detained a man, aged 40, who tried to steal a mobile phone, in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon. The suspect accumulates several prison sentences and was in preventive detention.
The arrest took place last Wednesday, around 11 pm, when the agents saw the suspect trying to steal a cell phone by pulling it out, only failing because the victim realized his intentions and avoided the robbery.
Faced with the flagrante delicto, the police detained him, verifying that the individual had already been sentenced to several prison terms and a fine for “crimes eminently linked to the patrimonial sphere, having just recently been captured by the PSP”, says the Police in a statement. released this Tuesday.
