Rally classics accelerate at the weekend in Barcelos

The classic cars that were successful in the world of rallies will accelerate next weekend in Barcelos. Rally Spirit returns to the road with almost a hundred registered drivers and shows machines from other times. Lancia Delta, Audi Quattro, Subaru Impreza, Ford Escort, Toyota Celica, Porsche 911 and Mitsubishi Lancer are some of the automobiles that can be enjoyed.

After going through Terras do Bouro and Vila Verde, the Rally Spirit will accelerate, on Saturday, with two stages in Terra do Galo. The 2023 edition ends with the 10.23 km special Boucles de Barcelos – starting at 11.36 am -, which favors, above all, the spectacle and which is disputed with several teams in pursuit within a track.

The revival of old-fashioned rallies will force the cutting and conditioning of roads in several areas of the city, but also in some parishes, such as Alvito S. Pedro, Panque and Cossourado, on Friday and Sunday, and Paradela, Courel, Macieira de Rates, Chorente, Carvalhas, Goios, Remelhe and Santa Eulália, on Saturday.
