(CNN) — Pope Francis canceled all his audiences on Friday morning due to a fever, the Vatican press office reported, giving no further details.

Pope Francis, who is 86, was seen looking good Thursday afternoon at an event broadcast live from the Vatican for Scholas Occurrentes, an international education network Francis founded, according to the CNN team on the ground.

Francisco was briefly hospitalized in March for bronchitis, but was released days before Holy Week, when he appeared briefly at some major week events.

After being discharged, the pontiff participated in the Good Friday mass in celebration of the Lord’s Passion in St. Peter’s Basilica, arriving at the service in a wheelchair and remaining seated for most of the act.
