Philharmonic, theater and museum to be built in the capital of Ingushetia

The authorities of Ingushetia have decided to build in the capital of the republic Magas the buildings of the musical and drama theater, the state philharmonic society and the local history museum. On Wednesday, March 22, the portal “This is the Caucasus” reports with reference to the head of the region, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.

“The construction of cultural facilities, especially such fundamental ones as a drama theater, a philharmonic society, a museum where artifacts can be stored, is simply necessary for the republic … We are talking about preserving history and developing modern art in Ingushetia,” Kalimatov said.

According to him, the emergence of new facilities in the city will also attract established professionals and young people to the development of culture.

It is specified that the construction will be completed within three years. Plots for it were allocated in the 17th microdistrict of Magas. In total, 4.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of projects.
