Pedro Siza Vieira is the new commentator of the TSF Central Block

The lawyer who held the position of Minister of Economy in the last government of António Costa joins the TSF political commentary program, alongside Pedro Marques Lopes.

It is already next Friday, May 6, that Pedro Siza Vieira starts the weekly commentary on political news, on the TSF Central Block program, where he will replace Pedro Adão e Silva, who is now part of the executive, as Minister of Culture.

Siza Vieira, 57, began by taking on the position of deputy minister in 2017, spending a year later accumulating the functions of Minister of Economy. In the previous government of António Costa, Siza Vieira held the portfolio of Economy and Digital Transition. A PS militant in the early 1990s, he would eventually abandon his militancy, dedicating himself to law.

The Bloco Central program, one of the oldest on TSF, has been on the air for fifteen years and can be heard on Fridays, after 7 pm, on Saturdays, after 11 am and always on tsf.pt
