Ottoman-era medals seized in Çanakkale

Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, Smuggling Crimes Bureau teams carried out a residence operation in the city for the smuggling of historical artifacts.

In the operation, the Ottoman mecidi shams medal, the Ottoman mecidi new insignia medal, the Ottoman silver sword medal of merit and the Ottoman silver medal of merit were seized.

Legal action has been initiated against the detained MD.
