The Russians are now trying to guess where the Armed Forces will go – to Volnovakha, Tokmak or Energodar. Out of fear, they struck with artillery at the Ukrainian operational groups and “lit up” all their positions, on which the Armed Forces had practiced.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, but the war is not without losses, in particular, it concerns damaged Leopard tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
Military correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko told about this on the air of “TSN-week”.
Tsaplienko commented on the counteroffensive actions of Ukrainian troops in Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhia, noting that the armed forces are already advancing further south than the Russians say.
Counteroffensive actions in Zaporozhye and Donetsk region
“The information we are currently discussing is from open sources. And it is very difficult to draw conclusions about what is actually happening in the Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions. The only thing that can be judged even from Russian videos is that in some areas, our military is already further south than the Russians say“, the journalist noted.
He drew attention to the good news from the front – the Defense Forces of Ukraine are making progress. Yes, 68 separate hunting brigade named after Oleksi Dovbusha showed how she raises the flag over the liberated village of Blagodatne.
“We have many benefactors, especially in the occupied part of Donetsk region. And the military does not say which one we are talking about, especially since they are all in the directions of a possible offensive. But the Deep State map indicates how Blagodatne and Neskuchne near Velika Novosilka have just been released“, Tsaplienko said.
The Russians are trying to guess the directions of the offensive of the Armed Forces
He also commented on the statements of the Russian “military commanders” about the fierce fighting in Zaporozhye and about the alleged intentions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to destroy the “land bridge” between mainland Russia and occupied Crimea. At the same time, Western media even suggest that Ukrainian troops may try to liberate Melitopol and Energodar.
“Well… And they mention that they are holding our Zaporizhia nuclear plant hostage there. The Russians are now really trying to guess where we are going – to Volnovakha, to Tokmak or to Energodar. Out of fear, they rolled out almost all of their camouflaged artillery and hit our task forces. As a result, the Armed Forces revealed all their positions. Then our high-precision weapons: Himars and Excalibur already dealt with them. And these attempts have already cost them, as of June 9, about 50 units of armored vehicles, more than 12 tanks, and at least 50 of the most scarce artillery systems,” the military correspondent informed.
Losses of the Armed Forces: Leopard and Bradley shot down
Tsaplienko also spoke about losses on the part of Ukrainian troops. He reacted to information from the German publication Bild about the downed two Leopard tanks and 13 Bradley BMPs.
“Not hit. The hatches are open, which means the mines blew up, and the crews evacuated. Yes, this is a war and a competition of who will outwit whom. Unfortunately, no one has been able to fight without the loss of people and military equipment. And I hope everyone understands that. This is a war against a defense in depth. The Armed Forces may lose a lot of equipment. This is part of the offensive. But the main thing is people,” the journalist explained.
He noted that the video of the supposed battle with damage to Ukrainian equipment shows how clearly the defenders act even under intense fire and help each other in evacuation.
The occupiers decided that the Ukrainian offensive had begun
“As far as I know, the Russians saw this column and really decided that the offensive had already begun. And under him – they lit up their hidden artillery reserves. Well, we thanked them: in the first days of this week, up to 50 units of Russian artillery systems have already ceased to exist,” Tsaplienko said.
What is known about the battle where the Leopard and Bradley were damaged
The day before, a video of the battle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the occupiers in the Zaporozhye region appeared on the Internet, during which a Leopard 2 tank and several Bradley infantry fighting vehicles were damaged by the Ukrainian forces: they blew up on enemy mines. Despite the damage to the equipment, the defenders managed to save the personnel. This battle was commented on by a military man with the call sign “Czech”, who stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine then hit the Russians well: many occupiers were eliminated, because their walkie-talkies “cracked, screamed, screamed and cried.”
Which settlements have already been liberated by the ZSU
On June 11, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Blagodatne and Makarivka in Donetsk region. She also reported on the advance of Ukrainian forces in the south.
Valery Shershen, spokesman for the Defense Forces of the Tavrya region, commented on Blagodatny’s release. He reported that the Ukrainian troops managed to capture six occupiers, and the flag in the village was raised by a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the pseudo-Olympus.
On the same day, fighters of the 7th separate battalion “Arey” reported the liberation of the village of Neskuchne, Volnovasky district of Donetsk region, and recorded a video from there.
The commander of the fighters, Oleksandr Hryschuk, on the pseudonym “Macedonets”, said that the battle for Neskuchne lasted for two days. The enemy stubbornly held on and counterattacked, but was demoralized by Ukrainian resistance. Then the occupiers began to withdraw.
