Neymar, a Brazilian international and footballer for Paris Saint-Germain, declared on Thursday his support for the re-election of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who goes to vote on Sunday.
The canarinha ace shared a video on the social network TikTok in which he dances and sings to the song “vote, vote and confirm, 22 [número da urna] is Bolsonaro”.
The announcement comes a day after the Brazilian President, in a campaign action, visited the Neymar Institute, which belongs to the footballer, and was received by dozens of children cared for by this entity.
That same day, the 30-year-old Brazilian footballer thanked the President and the candidate for governor of São Paulo for visiting.
“Speak, President Bolsonaro, Tarcísio, Michelle, passing by to thank you for your distinguished visit. I really wanted to be together, but unfortunately, I’m far away. But next time I’ll be together. I hope you enjoy your visit there at the Institute, which is mine biggest goal I’ve scored in my life. Big kiss, stay with God”, said Neymar, through a video on his social networks.
All polls indicate that Lula da Silva has an advantage of about 15 percentage points over Bolsonaro, and could even win in the first round of the presidential elections that take place on Sunday.
