NATO Secretary General supported the idea of ​​deploying Western air defense in Ukraine

NATO members support the idea of ​​deploying Western Patriot anti-aircraft systems in Ukraine to enhance the capabilities of Ukraine’s air defense (AD) systems, but this initiative requires further careful discussion. This was stated by Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, reports Reuters.

“We all agree on the urgent need to help Ukraine, including with air defense systems,” Stoltenberg said.

The Secretary General added that he also considers it important and necessary to support Ukraine so that it can provide maintenance, ammunition supply and the effective functioning of these systems in the country.
