    Four Nantes students filed a complaint against X on Friday March 17 for “sexual violence by persons holding public authority”accusing police officers of gestures “of a sexual nature” during a demonstration in Nantes on Tuesday March 14, learned France Blue Ocean with their lawyers, confirming information from Mediapart.

    These four students accuse the police of inappropriate and “sexual” gestures, during a check of around fifty students after a blocking operation on Tuesday at Porte de la Chapelle, on the Nantes ring road. According to the students, their private parts were patted down and degrading comments of a sexist and sexual nature were made by the police.

    “I received in my office young women shocked by what had happened to them”, explains to France Bleu Loire Océan Me Aurélie Rolland, lawyer for two of the students, all in their twenties. The lawyer describes young women “stunned by these extremely inappropriate gestures” And “now stressed and anxious”. The lawyer for the other two students is Me Anne Bouillon.

    The public prosecutor of Nantes indicated that the IGPN (General Inspectorate of the National Police) has been seized of this case and that an investigation is underway.
