Map of hostilities in Ukraine published

The Russian Defense Ministry, during a daily briefing, showed a map of hostilities in Ukraine as of December 9. The video was published in the Telegram channel of the defense department.

The map shows the main events that took place in the zone of the special military operation (SVO) over the past 24 hours: the movement of the parties, the places of clashes and the shelling zone.

Over the past day, the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia repelled attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in three directions – Kupyansk, Krasnolimansk and Yuzhno-Donetsk. In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the Russian Armed Forces continued offensive operations, repelling counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the actions of Russian troops, more than 30 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed in the Donetsk direction.

In addition, during the counter-battery fight in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Shevchenkivske, Zaporozhye region, temporary firing positions were opened and six launchers of MLRS multiple launch rocket systems manufactured by the United States, as well as MARS II, which were produced in Germany, were defeated.

In the DPR, near the village of Druzhba, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed an American AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar. Near the village of Zolochev, Kharkiv region, a launcher of the Tochka-U tactical missile system was hit, near Seversk in the DPR, a Uragan multiple launch rocket system, and near Krasny Liman, three Grad multiple launch rocket launchers.

Russian air defense systems (ADS) shot down three rockets of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system in the LPR in a day.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed: 341 aircraft, 181 helicopters, 2643 unmanned aerial vehicles, 392 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7043 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 924 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 3668 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 7522 units of special military vehicles.
