“Malice and hatred against everything Ukrainian remains”: the KMVA explained the reasons for the night attack on Kyiv

On the night of May 28, the Russian invaders carried out the most massive air attack on Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Explosions sounded from the beginning of the air alarm.

KMVA spokesman Mykhailo Shamanov explained the reasons for the enemy attack.

“This is another sleepless night for the people of Kyiv. This is the 14th attack on the capital in May. This is how the Rashists are trying to “congratulate” the people of Kyiv on Kyiv Day. Let me remind you that today will be the Day of the Capital. The aggressor country has always tried to attach itself to some sacred dates. But for more than 1.5 thousand years, the Ukrainian capital stood, and it stands. The enemy still has malice and hatred towards everything Ukrainian, especially what concerns the Ukrainian capital. It became the strong pot against which the Russian troops broke their teeth in February and in March of last year. They did not manage to take Kyiv in three days, and they will not be able to break it with missile or shahe attacks. Groups of enemy UAVs were moving towards Kyiv from different directions,” he said.

We will remind, at night the Russians again attacked Kyiv. According to preliminary data, more than 40 drones were destroyed by air defense forces in the airspace of Kyiv.

There are casualties and destruction in various areas in the capital as a result of the falling debris of enemy drones.
