Lula provokes Neymar: ″He is afraid″

Lula da Silva, candidate for the presidency of Brazil, said that Neymar supports Jair Bolsonaro because he is afraid of paying taxes related to his transfer from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.

“Neymar has the right to choose whatever he wants to be president. I think he’s afraid that if I win the elections, I’ll know that Bolsonaro has forgiven his income tax debt. I think that’s it, he scared,” he said.

“Obviously Bolsonaro made a deal with his father. But that’s not the president’s problem, it’s a federal revenue problem and not mine,” he added, corrosively.

According to the Brazilian press, the Paris Saint-Germain footballer will have evaded taxes between 2011 and 2013, mainly in relation to payments made by Barcelona at the time he left Santos.
