The Liga 2 clubs met, this Tuesday, with the executive management of Liga Portugal, in a meeting led by the president of the body that manages Portuguese professional football, Pedro Proença.
From the meeting came the desire of the clubs that the work of Liga Portugal, in fields such as ticketing centralization and audiovisual rights, continues for the four-year period 2023-2027.
Pedro Proença clarified those responsible for the Liga 2 emblems about the steps taken in the process that will lead to the centralization of ticketing in that competition, explaining that it will lead to an increase in spectators in the stadiums, with repercussions on the commercial activity of the clubs.
With regard to the centralization of Audiovisual Rights, work is already being done on the Audiovisual Regulation and on the Economic Control Regulation, which will have to be approved by the General Assembly by the end of the season.
The Strategic Plan for the four-year period 2023-2027, which appears in the Activities Plan of Liga Portugal and which is being prepared by EY, was also addressed, a document considered by the management of Liga Portugal as very important for the future of Liga clubs two.
