In case of unforeseen situations, the city purchases reserve fuel – fuel oil, and also provides for the possibility of using mobile boiler rooms.
This winter should be a test of storage capacity for every Kyivite warm.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Panteleev, on the air of the telethon, commenting on the upcoming heating season.
Responding to a question about the fact that a planned temperature drop of several degrees is expected in the homes of Kyiv residents, Panteleev noted: “I want to refute this information. After all, the standards did not change across the country. Kyiv is not a separate part. Therefore, we will focus on the generally accepted standard – this is +18 degrees.”
He added that messages from the city authorities of Kyiv should be perceived as a call for total energy saving.
“This winter should be a test of the ability to store heat and other energy resources for every enterprise manager, entrepreneur, school director, kindergarten teacher, and every Kyiv resident,” Panteleev said.
The deputy head of the KMDA also added that currently 70% of the city has hot water supply.
“This year’s preparation for winter is unusual: we are working under a curfew, in conditions of a shortage of monetary resources. That is why this work took more time. However, we did what we planned. That is, the technical minimum of work that is necessary for the stable passage of the heating season , completed. And we are now confidently looking at both the beginning and the completion of the heating season,” Panteleev concluded.
In addition, he noted that in case of unforeseen situations, the city buys reserve fuel – fuel oil, and also foresees the possibility of using mobile boiler rooms.
Earlier it was reported that the tariffs will remain unchanged in Ukraine, but heating will be weakened and not everywhere: it is recommended to warm up with electricity.
