Several banned Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) were also on display at the parade marking the anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Armed Forces.
“We will continue to take steps to strengthen and develop our country’s nuclear capabilities as quickly as possible,” Kim said, according to a report by the official Korean Central News Agency.
In March, North Korea tested an ICBM for the first time since 2017.
This led to widespread condemnation from the international community. The US also imposed various sanctions on the country after the test.
