Kyiv “Dynamo” lost to Turkish “Fenerbahce” in the framework of the final round of the Europa League group stage of the 2022/23 season. The match in Kraków, Poland, at the “Krakowia” stadium, ended with a score 0:2.

“Yellow canaries” managed to take the lead in the 23rd minute of the meeting. Heorhiy Bushchan, who returned to the starting line-up of Kyiv after an injury, made a mistake on the way out of the gate, and Arda Guler instantly overthrew the “Dynamo” goalkeeper.

In stoppage time before the first half, the Istanbul team scored for the second time. Willian Arao won the air after a corner kick and headed the ball into the far corner.

At the 68th minute, the Kyivans still remained in the minority. Ilya Zabarny received a second yellow card for a foul on Ferdi Kadioglu in front of his own penalty area.

In the parallel match of this group, the French “Rennes” and the Cypriot AEK from Larnaca drew – 1:1.

• Having scored only one point in six rounds, “Dynamo” took the last place in the group and was eliminated from the European Cups. “Fenerbahce” (14) reached the 1/8 finals of the Europa League from the first step. “Rennes” (12) became the second and competes in head-to-head matches of the League. AEK Larnaca (5) will play in the head-to-head matches of the Conference League.
• The draw for the next stage of the European Cups will take place on Monday, November 7. On this day, Shakhtar Donetsk will know their opponent in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League, and “Dnipro-1” – in the 1/16 finals of the Conference League.
