The adviser of the Office of the President of Ukraine named the reasons that forced the Russians to use Iranian drones, and predicted the consequences of their use.
Military expert and adviser to the head of the OP Oleksiy Arestovych believes that the attack of the Russian army on Ukrainian cities with the use of Iranian-made UAVs will still receive an appropriate reaction from the West.
That’s what he’s about spoke on Friday, September 23, in a conversation with Russian blogger and human rights defender Mark Feigin.
Arestovych reminded that today during the attack of the Russian occupiers, 6 Iranian drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems.
“This can mean two things: [росіяни] began to save missiles or began to test new means of destruction and our methods of reaction to them”, – he noted.
In addition, the expert predicted the West’s reaction to Iran’s supply to Russia of weapons used in hostilities in Ukraine.
“The fact that Iran forced itself to help Russia was very well noted in the West, especially in the United States they put it in the balance, and there will be a reaction. We will understand what it will be a little later. But Iran will not be forgiven for this just like that,” Arestovych emphasized.
We will remind, after the Russian occupiers used Iranian-made kamikaze drones to attack the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side decided to deprive the Iranian ambassador to Ukraine of accreditation, as well as to significantly reduce the number of diplomatic staff of the Iranian embassy in Kyiv.
