    Good news at last. The major agri-food manufacturers have made a commitment to Bercy to lower the prices of hundreds of products affected by inflation on the shelves, as of July, the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le, announced on Friday June 9. Mayor.

    “I tell the French that from July, on a certain number of references and products, the prices will drop. And we will check it, and we will sanction those who do not play the game”declared the Minister of the Economy on BFM TV / RMC, stressing that “this is what the manufacturers have committed to” during a meeting Thursday in Bercy.

    The rise in consumer prices rose to 5.1% in May over one year, but that of food products still reached 14.1%.
