In the Rylsky district of the Kursk region in the village of Popovka, two houses were damaged during shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU), the governor of the border region Roman Starovoit said on his Telegram channel.
“At least 20 arrivals were recorded in the vicinity of the village of Popovka on the border with the Sumy region. Most importantly, there are no casualties,” he said.
The head of the Kursk region said that the fragments hit the facades, fences, roofs, one of the shells damaged the barn. The Governor added that after assessing the damage caused to the residents of the affected houses, assistance will be provided.
Starovoit also said that a power line was damaged during the shelling, and in the near future, repair teams will begin to eliminate the consequences.
