In the Zbaraz correctional colony in the Ternopil Oblast, a serviceman of the Armed Forces married a convict.

It is reported in the social network on the page of the penitentiary.

The convict’s chosen one, who is serving in the Armed Forces, took a leave and came to his beloved to get married. The marriage ceremony took place just in the colony.

“The newlyweds have been waiting for this day for a long time and were very worried, neither war, nor distance, nor being in places of incarceration stood in the way of their happiness,” the message reads.

The penitentiary notes that the creation of a new family under conditions of deprivation of liberty has a positive effect on the behavior of convicts, who become more responsible, more disciplined, and make even more efforts to return home sooner for good behavior.

It was previously reported that a 20-year-old resident of Transcarpathia is expecting her first child from a 60-year-old immigrant from Mariupol.

We will remind that the pregnant woman was taken to the Dnipro hospital exactly when her husband got there from the front line.
