Identity of shooter in Jerusalem revealed

Shooting at the City of David in Jerusalem was arranged by 13-year-old Muhammad Aliyat. His identity was revealed by Kan.

According to her, the teenager was injured during the arrest and was taken to the hospital. It is specified that the minor has already been interrogated by the special services.

The media learned that Aliyat arrived at the scene by bus. He took a pistol with him, which he apparently brought from home and hid behind a parked car.

Earlier it was reported that the Israeli police called the shooting incident in East Jerusalem a suspicion of a terrorist attack.

The incident happened on the morning of Saturday, January 28. According to The Jerusalem Post, the shooting took place at an archaeological site near the Old City. Two men, aged 22 and 45, were injured; they are in serious but stable condition.
