Heavy battles and advances: the General Staff reported what was happening at the front

The Armed Forces repelled all enemy attacks.

During the past day, the Russian invaders launched an air strike using “Shahed” type attack drones. As a result of successful combat work, all 5 attack UAVs were destroyed by our soldiers. In addition, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes, 58 air strikes and fired 81 salvo rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions – during the past day, about 40 combat clashes took place.

On the Volyn and Polissky directions operational situation without significant changes. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.

On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Veterinary district of the Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 15 settlements.

On the Kupyansk direction our soldiers are firmly on the defensive. Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

On the Lymansky direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the districts of Nadiya in the Luhansk region and Torskyi and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. He carried out airstrikes in the Serebryansky Forest and Spirnyi districts of the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area of ​​Bohdanivka and Ivanivskyi, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were damaged by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiiv direction our defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops in the Avdiivka area. The enemy launched an airstrike near Severny, Donetsk region. At the same time, he carried out artillery fire on more than 10 settlements.

On the Marinsky direction Defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in Krasnohorivka and Maryinka districts of Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. He shelled more than 10 settlements, including Maksimilianivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, and Pobieda in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novomykhailivka area. He carried out airstrikes near Blagodatny and Makarivka and shelled more than 10 settlements.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. Made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the area south of Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.

In the temporarily occupied city of Energodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers sent repressions against the ZNPP workers who refuse to cooperate and enter into contracts with the Russian occupation administration. Instead, Ukrainians continue to resist: they do not go to work, sabotage the implementation of the decisions of the occupation administration, etc.

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces has carried out 12 strikes on areas where the enemy’s personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated. Also, our defenders destroyed 4 reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical level.

During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 21 artillery pieces in firing positions, an anti-aircraft missile complex and another important enemy target.
