Additional contracts for the supply of systems were signed in Ueberlingen on Lake Constance:
“The IRIS-T air defense system from Diehl Defence, which Ukrainians call “Toffee”. It has already saved several Ukrainian lives,” the ambassador noted.
We will remind you that Germany updated the list of aid for Ukraine, adding the one that was announced 13 days ago, in the amount of 2.7 billion euros. The new list of aid for Ukraine will include Leopard 1 tanks, Marder BMPs, IRIS-T SLM air defense systems and IRIS-T SLS mobile air defense systems, air defense radars, Gepard anti-aircraft guns and much more. In total, 8 IRIS-T SLMs (2 already in Ukraine) and 12 IRIS-T SLSs are to be delivered, and 18 more Gepards in addition to the 34 already delivered.
