The International Football Federation has officially announced which of the cities will host the matches of the 2026 World Cup.
Note that the 2026 World Cup will take place in three countries at once – USA, Canada and Mexico.

Yes, most of the World Cup matches will be hosted by American cities – 60 out of 80 possible. Another 10 – in Mexico and Canada. Starting in the quarterfinals, all matches will take place in the United States. A total of 16 cities will be involved in the competition.
So, which cities will host the 2026 World Cup:
- USA: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York / New Jersey, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia;
- Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey;
- Canada: Vancouver, Toronto.
It will be recalled that this World Cup will be the first in which 48 national teams will take part. Preliminarily, it will run from June 11 to July 12.
- The United States will host the World Cup for the second time (for the first time in 1994). But for Mexico it will be the third tournament (after 1970 and 1986)
We will add that the 2022 World Cup will take place from November 21 to December 18 in Qatar. Unfortunately, the national team of Ukraine did not have only one step to make it to the World Cup. In the final playoff playoffs “blue-yellow” minimally lost to Wales (1: 0).
