The Portuguese canoeist Fernando Pimenta won, this Sunday, the silver medal in the K1 5,000 meters test, in the second stage of the Canoeing World Cup, which takes place in Poznan, Poland.
Pimenta, who won his fourth medal at the canoeing World Cup, finished with a time of 21.23.72 minutes, 24.38 seconds behind the winner, the Dane Mads Brandt Pedersen, who got the gold.
The Norwegian Jon Amund Vold closed the podium, winning bronze, with a mark of 21:31.67 minutes.
The Portuguese canoeist closes the Poznan World Cup with four medals, as he joins silver in the K1 5,000 test, which ended the competition, gold in the K2 500 meters mixed test, which he won together with Teresa Portela, and two silver medals reached at K1 500 and K1 1000 meters.
