FC Porto won (1-0), this Sunday, at Estádio do Dragão, against Portimonense in a game counting for the 26th round of the League. Fábio Cardoso scored the goal of the match. Lucas Ventura was expelled.
With some news in the eleven – Manafá was the biggest surprise – Sérgio Conceição’s team reached the goal in the 30th minute, by Fábio Cardoso, with a header, following a cross from the left by Wendell. In the second half, Galeno still celebrated but the goal was annulled after the referee resorted to VAR and Lucas Ventura was expelled for accumulating yellow cards, leaving Portimonense reduced to ten players.
With this triumph, the blue and white team regains second place, with a ten point difference in relation to leader Benfica, the team they will face in the next round. Portimonense is ranked 14th, with 26 points.
