Traffic on the bridge is blocked.

On Crimean bridge on the night of July 17, at least two explosions were heard. The explosions occurred at 3:04 and 3:20. They were heard in different districts in Kerch. There are dead and injured.

Russian Telegram channels write that the span of the bridge has “fallen”. Emergency services are trying to get to the scene of the incident, but there are kilometers of traffic jams on the bridge, making traffic difficult.

The local “authority” has already formed an operational headquarters in connection with the NP. The so-called “head of Crimea” Serhii Aksyonov called on residents and guests of the occupied peninsula to refrain from traveling through the bridge and for safety reasons to choose an alternative route through new regions.

“Traffic has been stopped on the Crimean bridge: an emergency event has occurred in the area of the 145th pier from the Krasnodar Territory. Law enforcement agencies and all relevant services are working. I spoke with the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Gennadiyovich Saveliev, measures are being taken to restore the situation,” wrote Aksyonov.

Traffic on the bridge is stopped. The crossing through the Kerch Strait is also not working.
The adviser to the “head” of Crimea, Oleg Kryuchkov, said that the occupation authorities of the peninsula will provide all the necessary support to tourists in connection with the suspension of traffic on the Crimean bridge.

Meanwhile, the governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that a man and his wife had died. Their daughter was also in the car and was injured and taken to the hospital.

The Ukrainian side did not comment on these events.

We will remind, around noon on July 9, explosions rang out in Kerch. Later it became known that the sounds of explosions could be heard in the area of the Crimean Bridge. The occupying “power” immediately announced the “successful” work of the anti-aircraft defense.

On the Internet, eyewitnesses published footage showing Russian air defense trying to shoot down a missile. Photos and videos show thick black smoke rising over the bridge. Kremlin propagandists reported that traffic on the bridge was blocked in both directions.
