“Dynamo” lost to “Zora” in Kyiv and moved away from the top 3 of the UPL

Kyiv “Dynamo” was defeated by Luhansk “Zora” in the central match 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League. The match at the capital’s Lobanovsky Stadium ended with a score 0:1.

In the first half, the teams made only one shot out of two (performed by the Lugansk team – note), and did not hit the goal plane at all.

After the break, the game became somewhat more active. Moments finally began to emerge, but there were very few truly dangerous ones.

However, at the end of the match, Patrick van Leeuwen’s wards managed to win. In the 83rd minute, Panamanian legionnaire Eduardo Guerrero scored from the penalty area with a low kick into the far corner after a pass from Maksym Khlan.

“Dynamo” (33 points) remained in fourth place in the UPL. “Zorya” (37 points) occupies the third position.

In the next round, after the international break, Mircea Lucescu’s team will play against Lviv, and Lugansk will face Rukh. Both matches will take place on April 2.
