Due to the storm, mine danger increased in the Black Sea

On Saturday, January 28, due to a storm in The Black Sea mine danger is increasing. In particular, they can drift along the sea coast of the Odesa region.

About this told Serhii Bratchuk, spokesman for Odesa OVA.

“Due to the storm in the Black Sea, mine danger is increasing. There is a high probability of sea mines breaking off their anchors and hitting the shore, as well as their drifting along the coast,” said the OVA representative.

Bratchuk asks people to be careful and not to violate the relevant orders of the OVA and the military command.

We will remind, at the beginning of January 2023 in the Odesa region indiscovered two drifting anti-ship mines. They were neutralized, due to which the locals could hear the sounds of explosions.
