In the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region, 16 schools were completely destroyed. Another 48 were significantly damaged, which is why it is currently impossible to hold classes there.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Vitrenko told about this on the air of a nationwide telethon.

According to him, there is also no shortage of teaching staff. Vitrenko assured that the cases when teachers cooperated with the occupiers and voluntarily taught students according to the Russian program were isolated.
Employment contracts with such collaborators will be terminated.
“They have no right to teach children who have seen all the horrors of war,” Vitrenko emphasizes.
Earlier it was reported that more than a hundred Russian textbooks were seized from a school near Izyum.
We will remind you that Lydia Mykolaivna is the director of one of the schools in the Kharkiv Region got “to the basement” of the occupiers, because she did not want to cooperate with the enemy. A 60-year-old woman was beaten, abused and kept in terrible conditions.
In total, 12 criminal proceedings have been opened in the Kharkiv region educators who agreed to cooperate with the enemies.
