The decision of the YSK regarding the customs gates to vote in the Presidential Elections and the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections has been published.
According to the decision, the voting process at the customs gates will start at 08:00 on Thursday, April 27, 2023 and will end at 17:00 on Sunday, May 14, 2023. If the Presidential election is left to the second ballot, it has been decided to start at 08:00 on Saturday, May 20, 2023, and to end at 17:00 on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
In this context, the customs gates where voters registered in the foreign electoral register can vote for 24 hours, including holidays, are as follows:
“Gürbulak, Aktaş, Türkgözü, Sarp, Kapıkule, Pazarkule, Ipsala, Hamzabeyli, Karkamış Uzumlu, Esendere, Kumlu, Cilvegözü, Öncüpınar, Çobanbey, Dereköy, Akçakale, Habur Kapıköy highway, Şakirpaşa, Esenboğa, Antalya, Çardak, Diyarbakır, Hasan Polat , Elazig, Gaziantep, Hatay, Süleyman Demirel, Istanbul, Sabiha Gokcen, Adnan Menderes Erkilet, Konya, Dalaman, Bodrum-Milas, Samsun Carsamba, Trabzon, Zonguldak Caycuma airports and Kusadasi, Ayvalik, Cesme, Derince, Mersin, Tasucu, Bodrum and Samson.”
On the other hand, temporary customs gate election boards will be established in some districts to take part in voting processes.
Each temporary customs gate selection committee; will form three ballot box committees depending on them, but if it deems necessary, it will be authorized to increase or decrease the number of ballot box committees, and to determine the start and end times of the voting hours (in eight-hour intervals).
The establishment of temporary customs gate election boards will be completed until 17.00 on Thursday, March 30, 2023. A copy of the signed minutes and the oath text regarding the formation will be sent to the YSK. The decision will also require the establishment of ballot box committees until 17.00 on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
