Collision between two cars on the waterfront in Melres causes serious injuries

An accident, involving two cars, on the EN 108, in Melres, Gondomar, this Friday morning, resulted in a serious injury.

As a result, the road was completely cut off for a few moments.

The collision took place at around 6.50 am, causing a serious injury, who was transported to Hospital de Santo António, in Porto.

The victim is a male in his 50s.

On site were the Melres Volunteer Firefighters (with five operators, supported by two vehicles), a basic life support ambulance from Gondomar, an emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle from the Hospital de Santo António, BT from Penafiel and Infraestruturas de Portugal.
