Bloody payback: the body of a Ukrainian woman who was brutally killed by her ex-boyfriend is being sought in Italy

In Italy, a 23-year-old Ukrainian woman is wanted in the municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere. She probably died at the hands of her ex-boyfriend.

As the publication notes, the crime could have taken place in the apartment rented by the couple. Italian law enforcement officers managed to detain the suspect. He turned out to be a 33-year-old citizen of Moldova. According to the police, the man does not confess to the murder.

Eyewitnesses claim that they heard a loud argument in the apartment. The version is being considered that the 33-year-old elected official could have threatened her with a knife, after which the murder took place.

It is known that the Ukrainian woman worked in one of the local bars. They said at work that there were no problems with the deceased.

The body is currently being searched for in the province of Mantua, near a lake north of the city of the same name. The police believe that the suspect could have disposed of the body by trying to drown it.
