Blinken: China “very carefully” monitors what is happening in Ukraine

Washington does not see any evidence that China is providing lethal weapons to Russia for the war against Ukraine.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that China’s political and material support to Russia is against US interests.

This is reported by the publication Sky news.

Blinken commented on Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow earlier this week.

The US Secretary of State said that the war in Ukraine “goes far beyond its borders” and the consequences are likely to “have a profound impact” on the territory of Asia.

Blinken said that China is watching what is happening in Ukraine “very carefully” and will learn lessons from how the world is dealing with Russian aggression.

At the same time, the US Secretary of State added that Washington does not see any evidence that China is providing lethal weapons to Russia for the war against Ukraine.

It will be recalled that previously a military serviceman, former adviser to the head of the President’s Office and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Viktor Andrusiv, stated that China knew about the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine and expected that the Kremlin would “deal with” the Ukrainians in order to invade Taiwan.

In addition, we previously reported that the spokesman for the US State Department, Ned Price, stated that Beijing must force Moscow to withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine if it wants to play a constructive role in the process of stopping the war.
