Blackout in Ukraine: how the indomitable people get out of the way during a blackout (they spin mincemeat and dry their hair in stores)

Shops, supermarkets and other public places become for Ukrainians a kind of “Points of Invincibility”.

The Ukrainian people are indomitable. Neither Russian missiles nor the complete lack of communication, water, heating and light can intimidate him. Ukrainians will find a way out of any situation. This was shown by the blackout on November 23 and the partial blackout on December 5.

TSN.ua publishes a selection of life hacks, how Ukrainians manage during the blackout.

The teacher conducts a lesson at “New Post”

After the rocket attacks on energy facilities on November 23, a video appeared in the public domain, showing how a teacher from one of the universities gave a lecture to students at the “New Post” branch, which became a kind of “Point of Invincibility”. The woman was not bothered by visitors to the post office, she was doing her job. According to Telegram channels, the footage was taken from Kharkiv. In social networks, users admire the ingenuity of the teacher.

A woman dries her hair in a supermarket

On November 24, a video of a woman coming to a supermarket with her hair dryer to dry her hair appeared in Odesa media. The store was crowded, but this did not frighten the Odessa woman. It also did not bother the other visitors of the institution, since they were all in the same situation – they were sitting without light.

Manicure in the underground parking lot

Even a long blackout cannot leave Ukrainian women without a good manicure. In Odessa, a girl had a manicure in an underground parking lot. Despite the lack of light in the city, the manicurist found a way out and temporarily made a “workplace” for herself in the parking lot. In the video published on the local Telegram channel, two girls can be seen, one of them is a manicurist. She took a desktop and a table lamp for work.

Kiyanka was turning minced meat into meatballs in the store

The founder of the “ROZETKA” company, Vladyslav Chechotkin, told about a curious incident that happened in one of the chain’s stores. He said that during a power outage in Kyiv, a local woman came to one of the “ROZETKA” distribution points and asked if she could have some ground meat for cutlets. About this reports “Skyscraper” edition.

“A woman came and said in confusion: I don’t know if I can ask you, but this is the case – and she takes out a meat grinder and meat from her bag. Excuse me, can I add minced meat for you, because I’ve already started making cutlets,” he recalled Chechotkin

Two women drying their hair in a post office

At one of the “New Post” branches, during a blackout, people come to beautify. The video, which appeared on the “Armed Forces of Ukraine” Telegram channel, shows two women drying their hair in a post office. Unfortunately, it is not known where these shots came from.

“Nova Poshta” helps beauty salons. Glory to Ukraine!” said the happy woman.

We will remind that as a result of the last missile attack of the Russian Federation on December 5, energy facilities were damaged. After that, problems with light began in some regions of Ukraine. Later, Denys Shmyhal specified that energy objects were hit in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions.
