Belenenses SAD returned to victories in the League, in the reception to Portimonense (2-0) and provisionally left the last place of the competition, in a game of the 28th round.

Safira, at 11 minutes, from a penalty, and Pedro Nuno, at 90+5, ended with a series of five games without a win for the ‘blues’, who remain in the relegation zone, in 17th and penultimate place, with 21 points, one more than Moreirense, who host Vitória de Guimarães on Sunday.

Portimonense, on the other hand, added the fourth consecutive defeat in the I Liga and remains in 11th place, with 29 points, having recorded the 14th consecutive game without winning in the competition.

The game was marked by the expulsion of Willyan, from Portimonense, in the 37th minute, which led the Brazilian to bump into referee Hélder Malheiro.
