Paços de Ferreira won this Friday night, at Jamor, against the last ranked Belenenses SAD, by 2-0, in the opening of the 24th round of the Liga Portugal.
The Brazilian Denilson Júnior gave the advantage to the team led by César Peixoto, at 45+3 minutes, in the conversion of a penalty, while the also forward Hélder Ferreira scored the second goal, at 62, ensuring the second consecutive triumph for the Pacense team.
With this victory, Paços de Ferreira climbed to 10th place, with 27 points, provisionally overtaking Santa Clara, while Belenenses SAD, which had the second consecutive defeat, remains in the last position, with 15, four behind Moreirense and five from Tondela, who play on Saturday.
