“And there will be a point of debauchery?”: “Points of solidarity” from Poroshenko provoked a wave of memes

In contrast to the “Points of Invincibility”, Petro Poroshenko announced the opening of the first “Point of Solidarity”, which immediately became a reason for numerous memes.

After the appearance of the “Solidarity Point”, which was opened on Sunday, December 4, by the leader of the political party “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko together with volunteers in Kherson, dozens of jokes appeared on the Internet.

TSN.ua collected the wittiest memes and comments on this event.

One of the jokers on social networks imagined what the aid stations opened by other police forces and public figures would look like.

Let’s say, “Point of the Motherland”, according to the author of the post, looks like this: “You come, you warm up, you understand that you are the only one who is not a pensioner, no one charges the phones, because the push-button phones hold a charge for a month, with a feeling of guilt that you are sitting here, and she work you go home”.

In “Punkt Sadovoy” the situation would be like this: “You come, you warm yourself with mead, polite people charge your phone, you drink hot coffee, they give you a check at the exit, you go home.”

The most succinct description is given by the “Point OPZZH”: “You come, they beat you, you go home.”

The famous showman Ihor Kondratyuk also tried to develop such an opinion, imagining in this list “points” from Prytula and Zaluzhny.

Recalling the number of votes gained by Petro Oleksiiovych in the last elections, social networks assumed that the charge for mobile phones would also be appropriate there.

In the context of the “political” confrontation between the Points of Invincibility and the Points of Solidarity, the meme authors referred to literary heroes such as Romeo and Juliet and Harry Potter, characters from the movies Godzilla and King Kong, as well as famous television commercials.

Some suggested ways of reconciliation for both “points”, considering compromise options. Others, on the contrary, imagined completely uncompromising situations.

There were proposals to organize not only points of solidarity, but also, let’s say, debauchery. Although some understood the proposed “solidarity” exactly in this way.
