About a dozen wagons of the freight train derailed and overturned onto the oncoming track.
On Friday, June 2, a railway accident involving freight and passenger trains occurred in India. At least 200 people died as a result of the collision. More than 800 citizens were injured.

The accident happened about 200 kilometers from the city of Kolkata. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
Currently, it is known that about a dozen wagons of the freight train derailed and overturned onto the opposite track, where a passenger train was passing at that time. As a result of the collision, three cars derailed.
Emergency personnel are on site. They eliminate the consequences of the accident and help all survivors get out of the train. Rescuers say that the death toll is likely to rise.
