A serviceman released from captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declared moral pressure on Russian soldiers
A Russian serviceman released from Ukrainian captivity spoke about the morale of the soldiers in captivity and expressed gratitude to those involved in organizing the exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine. The video was published by KP.RU military correspondent Alexander Kots in his Telegram channel.
“Thank you very much to the Ministry of Defense for pulling us out and continuing to engage in exchanges … The conditions of detention were, to put it mildly, not very good, but the most important thing is that we are alive. Just to everyone involved in the exchanges… to the doctors from our side, from the other side, who really know their stuff, thank you very much, human. Let the exchanges happen more often. The guys here all want to go home very much. Morally they are pressed there, but they do not give up. They are waiting, they want to go home,” the serviceman said.
The exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine took place on 23 and 24 November. As a result of the exchange procedure, 85 servicemen were returned to Russia from Ukrainian captivity.
As reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the released servicemen will be sent to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation.
