A Russian diplomat declared persona non grata in Lithuania

One of the employees of the Russian Embassy in Lithuania was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a note was given.

The reason for declaring the Russian diplomat persona non grata was given as “activities incompatible with diplomatic status”.

Reported to leave the country within 5 days

In the statement of the ministry, the person in question was instructed to leave the country within 5 days.

It is the fourth time that such a decision has been taken since the war between Russia and Ukraine that started in February.
