A man pulled his mother’s corpse out of the grave and lived with it for 13 years: a scary story

In Radlin, Poland, a man pulled his dead mother’s body from the grave and lived with it for 13 years. The corpse was lying on the couch, on newspapers. This became known in February 2023.

So, a 76-year-old man kept the mummified corpse of his mother at home. It all started with that on one of the streets, a relative of an elderly man noticed that he needed help. Without thinking for a long time, the first decided to call an ambulance. Due to the lack of logical contact with the man, the rescuers decided to take him to the hospital. Entering the house of a 76-year-old man, medics noticed that a mummified body was lying on the sofa.

As Malgozhata Konyarska, spokeswoman for the Vodzislav police, said, the body was found on February 22 around 10:20 a.m. from a relative of the home owner.

At first, investigators thought that the woman’s body had been lying there for several months. They didn’t even know who they belonged to. A DNA examination was immediately ordered to establish the identity of the woman. After the autopsy, it turned out that the corpse belonged to a woman over 65 years old. Then the 76-year-old man was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, and the police opened a case of involuntary manslaughter.

According to the results of DNA analysis, it was established that the woman was buried in January 2010 at the age of 95. As it turned out, the woman’s corpse had been in the newspapers since 2009.
